Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal multi-vehicle collision involving 22-year-old Corbin Congedo that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, May 10, 2026. The incident, which took place in Glen Burnie, resulted in the death of an Upper Marlboro woman and injuries to several others.

Sequence of Events

According to preliminary reports from the Maryland State Police Glen Burnie Barrack, Corbin Congedo was the sole occupant and driver of a Chevrolet Camaro traveling westbound on Dorsey Road. Investigators state that the Camaro was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck a Mazda CX-30, which was also heading westbound.

The force of the initial impact propelled the Camaro into the intersection. It subsequently collided with a Ford Explorer and an MTA Transit Bus, both of which were attempting to turn onto Telegraph Road from eastbound Dorsey Road.

Victims and Injuries

  • Yolanda Hardy (33): A resident of Upper Marlboro and a passenger in the Ford Explorer. She was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
  • Corbin Congedo (22): The driver of the Camaro was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
  • Ford Explorer Driver (38): The male driver of the Explorer was taken to a local trauma center for medical care.
  • Other Occupants: No other injuries were reported from the occupants of the Mazda or the MTA bus.

Investigation and Possible Charges

The Maryland State Police Crash Team is currently leading the investigation. Authorities have indicated that both speed and impairment are being considered as primary contributing factors in the crash.
