CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – The McHenry County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a 38-year-old man who died following a motorcycle accident over the weekend. The deceased has been identified as Andrew Anderson of Warrenville.

The Crystal Lake Police Department responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Saturday. The incident occurred near the intersection of Route 14 and Lake Shore Drive in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

A preliminary investigation indicates that Andrew Anderson was operating a 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and traveling eastbound when the vehicle left the roadway. The impact caused Anderson to be ejected from the motorcycle.
