The pursuit began on Sunday at approximately 1:46 a.m. when Horizon City Police officers attempted to pull over a vehicle for speeding near Antwerp Road. The driver, identified as Pablo Soto, refused to stop and fled at a high rate of speed, ignoring traffic signals.
As the chase continued into El Paso, Pablo Soto lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a parked recreational vehicle (RV) near the intersection of Alberton Avenue and Endwall Street. Following the crash, Soto initially resisted arrest but was eventually apprehended after a brief physical struggle with officers.
