HYDE PARK, NY – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal one-car accident that occurred over the weekend in the Town of Hyde Park. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Austin Caston, a resident of Hyde Park.

The collision took place at approximately 9 p.m.. According to crash investigators, Austin Caston was operating a 2009 Pontiac G6 and traveling southbound on N. Quaker Lane, near Forest Drive, when he lost control of the vehicle. The car subsequently left the roadway and struck a tree.
