REEVES COUNTY, Texas – On Friday evening, a fatal rollover accident in Reeves County claimed the life of Anthonny Michael Zinn (38) . According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Zinn was heading westbound on IH-20 when he noticed smoke coming from his 2023 International tow truck.
In an attempt to pull over, Zinn moved into the left lane but subsequently overcorrected to the right, losing control of the truck and causing it to flip. During the rollover, Zinn was ejected from the vehicle. Additionally, the truck’s cargo was thrown from the trailer and struck a second westbound vehicle head-on.
Zinn was transported to Odessa Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the second vehicle, Miguel Alonso Hernandez, sustained only minor injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
