HENDERSON, Ky – A fatal two-vehicle collision in Henderson has claimed the life of a local driver following a several-day battle with her injuries.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 41A and KY-425. According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, two vehicles were involved in the high-impact crash.
The Victim and Medical Response
The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office confirmed on Friday that one of the drivers involved, Shanna Gish, 54, has passed away.
Following the collision on Wednesday, emergency responders transported three people in total to the hospital for urgent care. Shanna Gish was taken to Deaconess Midtown Hospital, where she remained in critical condition until she succumbed to her injuries on Friday.
